Second sand tiger shark washed up in Ireland

Just weeks after the first sand tiger shark in UK waters was washed up on a South Coast beach, a second has been found in Wexford, Ireland.

As reported by Scuba Diver, a sand tiger shark was found dead on a Hampshire beach at the end of March, and sadly had its head and tail removed by trophy hunters before scientists could examine it.

This Irish find was a much-larger specimen.
