The Sea of Change Foundation, along with sponsors Aggressor Adventures, SSI, Mares and the Platinum Pro Foundation, is hosting the third annual Coral Reefs Forever Gala at the DEMA trade show in Orlando in November.
This gala event – described as being ‘ocean casual’ – will include complimentary beer and wine, buffet food, a live DJ, dancing, and both a silent and called auction. It kicks off at 6.30pm on 14 November in the Orange County Convention Centre, room W311E-H.
As well as the focal point of the auctions, the Platinum Pro Awards will also be handed, recognising outstanding achievements in scuba diving.
The Sea of Change Foundation’s annual Lifetime Explorer Award will also be given out, and this year’s recipient is freelance underwater photographer Michele Westmorland.
All monies raised will go directly to support the Sea of Change Foundation’s 2020 conservation projects and scholarships, and all their initiatives aim to directly impact the natural world we all love to enjoy and explore.
