Mineral water giant Evian is releasing a label-free, 100 percent recyclable, 100 percent recycled bottle.
The new design, which represents the first of its kind for the company and has been almost two years in the making, features an engraved logo, an Evian Pink bottle cap, and will be available as a 400ml bottle.
It is set to be distributed across select hotels and restaurants in France this month, and then in other countries from September.
Evian has set a target of becoming ‘fully circular' – making all of its bottles from 100 percent recycled plastic – by 2025, and this new bottle is a major milestone in this mission. The engraved logo removes the need for a label, in acknowledgment that bottle labels are not widely recycled.
