Divers Alert Network (DAN) is constantly developing new research methods to enhance diver safety, and at the GO Diving Show this weekend, they will be discussing a new way of getting dive data – from the actual diver underwater.
With this new technology, DAN can read vital signs, positioning, depth, and more, collecting data and sharing it via telemedicine. The diver will transmit the info via bluetooth to a beacon on the surface.
DAN Europe's Chantelle Taylor-Newman will be on the Main Stage immediately after Andy Torbet and Chris Jewell‘s stint (so around 12.15pm) to explain more about the new technology.

GO Diving Show – tickets now available!
Tickets are now available for the GO Diving Show, partnered with Seiko Prospex, which is on 4-5 March 2023 and is once again taking place at the NAEC Stoneleigh, on Stoneleigh Park, slap-bang in the middle of England. Tickets are £15 per person, and group discounts are available, so rustle up your dive club or dive centre members and plan a great day out to kickstart the UK season.
