Capernwray Dive Centre is always adding to its wide range of purpose-sunk diver attractions, and the latest to join the fray is a twin-engine private airplane.
Donated by Chris Tomlinson via his work, the plane was cleaned, prepared and then sunk last month, and is already drawing in divers wanting to see the new ‘guest’.
For those that know the site, the airplane is now situated in approximately 14m on top of the container, alongside the ‘oil rig’. The helicopter that was in-situ has been relocated elsewhere in the quarry.
