2022 Underwater Tour Awards $40,000 Prize Pool Entries open now

We're inviting photographers from around the globe to take part in this year's Underwater Tour Awards!

Everyone's on board!  Thanks to our incredible and generous partners, there are amazing prizes to be won – enviable trips and must-have gear from:  CameraPro, Walindi Planation Resort PNG, QYSEA Fifish Underwater Drone, Mike Ball Dive Expeditions, Lady Musgrave Experience, Heron Island, Lady Elliot Island, Inon, Paralenz, MomentoPro, Henderson Greenprene and Sealife!

The 2022 Competition’s Image categories are:
Underwater Scenes, Underwater Characters, Aquatic Abstracts,
Underwater Black and White, Topside Scenes and Reportage – NEW

There’s an ‘opt in’ for individual educational report cards for participants for these six image categories. 

The Guru Grand Prize
The ultimate prize, the Guru Grand Prize will be awarded to the photographer who attains a high level of achievement across 3 or more of the six competition categories.
 
People’s Choice Vote – new format in 2022
Measured by ‘likes', this year’s People’s Choice will take place on Take 3’s Instagram account, generating extra activity and buzz! 
 
Entry fees have been maintained at $25 per image for 2022, from which we will donate $3 per image entered to Take 3.
 
Take 3 Contest – NEW IN 2022 
We invite the broader ocean-loving community to get involved! Open to all, shot on any camera or device, this new novice contest embraces the Take 3 for the Sea message. Photos can be taken above, in, around or under any marine or freshwater area and will be judged on how best they communicate the “Take 3 for the Sea” story.  Judged by Take 3, the Take 3 Comp, 100% of the $3 entry fee will go to Take 3 for the Sea.

It's Official! 
We are delighted to announce our new partnership with Take 3 for the Sea!  A powerful grassroots movement with a simple call to action, Take 3 for the Sea has made a BIG impact since two friends set out with their plan in 2009: 30 million pieces of rubbish removed750,000 students educated through Take 3 programs125,000 attendees at Take 3 clean-ups and events 20 million people reached through Take 3 social media campaigns129 countries participated in the #take3forthesea campaign Take 3 pieces of rubbish with you when you leave the beach, waterway or…anywhere and you have made a difference.  Simple.
