Seiko Prospex Introduces Three ‘Black Series’ Limited Edition Dive Watches

Seiko Prospex has introduced three limited edition ‘Black Series’ dive watches inspired by the world of night diving.

Seiko Prospex Watches has introduced three limited edition ‘Black Series’ diver watches inspired by the world of night diving.

Set to be released in March 2018, the dive watches have been designed to achieve maximum legibility and feature black dials, tan hour markers and white and orange hands in LumiBrite.

The total run for each model hasn’t been announced.

The first in the trio of watches is the SNE493 P1 which is rated to 200m, has a 43.5mm case diameter, a silicon band and a solar driving system with a power reserve of 10 months. It will be priced at €380.

Second is the SSC673 P1, another solar powered watch rated to 200m with a 43.5mm case diameter. It’s been designed with large hour markers to allow for maximum surface area and depth for Seiko’s Lumibrite coating. It will be priced at €410.

Top of the lot is the Prospex Diver Automatic “Turtle” SRPC49 K1, which in terms of specification, is identical to the standard ‘Turtle’, featuring a 45mm steel case, 200m depth rating, and the 4R36 movement inside. It will be priced at €490.
