Police divers who have been scouring a pond in Epping Forest as part of the search for a missing student have found a body.

Richard Okorogheye, who was 19, had not been seen since 22 March, when he left the family home in West London with no money, or his medication for sickle cell disease.

Inquiries are currently underway to positively identify the body, but the grim discovery was made as police officers and search dogs scoured the extensive forest for a fifth day after CCTV footage showed Mr Okorogheye walking towards Epping Forest in the early hours of 23 March.

His mother, Evidence Joel, has previously said that her son had been ‘struggling to cope' with his business and IT degree.
