A prolific treasure-finding diver has recovered a lost prosthetic leg from the depths of Lake Windermere.

Angus Hosking, founder of Lake District Diving, is no stranger when it comes to finding lost property for people – he recently recovered a lost wedding ring from Windermere – and now he has added another item to his ever-growing list of recovered items.

Josephine Bridges, from Birmingham, lost her prosthetic leg at some point after jumping off the jetty at Millerground near Rayrigg Meadow.

Mr Hosking stepped in to assist, and soon located the missing limb in about 5m of water close to the jetty.
