Incredible Footage Shows Great White Shark Bump Diver on the Head

Footage from a scuba diver’s frightening encounter with a huge great white shark which sees him get bumped on the head by its jaws has gone viral.

The salvage diver was exploring the sea bed off the coast of South Africa when the great white reportedly appeared from behind baring its teeth, swimming overhead and bumping into his head in the process.

The diver appears unscathed after the event and other divers and spear fishermen have commented that the shark didn’t pose a threat as its “body language wasn’t in attack mode.”

The video was filmed by the diver’s son but some social media users have been skeptical of the footage and questioned its authenticity.
