Malta and Gozo have gained yet another shipwreck in its ever-growing fleet of artificial reefs, this time in the shape of the Hephaestus.

Sitting in around 40m-45m, just off the coast of Gozo’s Xatt L-Aħmar, the 60-metre oil tanker Hephaestus was scuttled at the beginning of the week to create a new diving attraction.

Congratulations to the PDSA, MTA, Transport Malta, Gozo Ministry and everyone else involved with the new attraction.
