Explorer Ventures has introduced an adrenaline-pumping trip to the Galapagos Islands on its newest luxury liveaboard, the Majestic Explorer.

From marine iguanas, mobula rays, sea lions and dolphins, to red-footed boobies and schooling hammerheads, divers will get a taste of the unique, native wildlife while enjoying the itinerary that includes three full days at Wolf and Darwin Islands, and two land tours. Travellers will be aboard for eight days and enjoy up to four dives per day.

Jennifer Cummings, a guide and sales rep from Explorer Ventures (pictured), told us what to expect during an interview at the DEMA show: “Expect an adrenaline rush! You’ll experience hammerheads and strong currents and a huge variety of animals underwater, plus two land excursions.”

The 115 foot Majestic Explorer is a motor yacht specifically designed and built to cruise through the Galapagos and accommodates 16 guests in eight air conditioned rooms with en-suites.

The dive deck is equipped with individual gear bins, camera table, recharging station, air and Nitrox filling stations, tank racks and a separate fresh water rinse tank for underwater camera equipment. There’s also a hot tub on deck for those hoping to enjoy a bevvy or two while the sun goes down.

Explorer Ventures is currently taking bookings for 2019 and prices start from $6095. Visit www.explorerventures.com for more information.
