Duttons Divers at Vivian Dive Centre in Llanberis, North Wales, has organised an activity-packed August Bank Holiday weekend featuring talks, stands, dives (both in the quarry and in the sea), fun and games for children, and even an on-water screening of Finding Dory, complete with inflatable rafts and popcorn!

Training agency PADI will be on hand during the weekend to offer information about recreational, technical and freediving courses to divers and prospective divers alike, and conducting a Member Forum on the Saturday evening, while dive specialist tour operator Scuba Travel will be showcasing some awesome dive trips both near and far. Dive retailer Divers Warehouse will have some fantastic offers on shiny bits of kit, Ocean Reef will be displaying their full-face masks, and Duttons Divers' newly minted PADI Course Director Clare Dutton will be talking about professional-level courses.

Adding a bit of dive glamour to proceedings, Miss Scuba UK will be around all weekend and heading off for some dives, and also jumping into the water will be Scuba Diver Editor-in-Chief Mark Evans – he'll have his camera with him, so who knows, you might end up in the magazine!

There will be Menai shore dives – including transport – from Llanberis, as well as high-speed RIB rides, discover scuba dives, tech trydives, and on the Sunday, trial sessions on the Ocean Reef full-face masks. These activities all require advance booking, so email Clare on: duttonsdivers@gmail.com to confirm your space.

The younger generation have not been forgotten – there will be a bouncy castle, marine-orientated face painting, a sea-life ‘rock pool', hook-a-duck, and even remote control boats.

Vivian Dive Centre will be holding their first-ever on-water cinema screening on the Saturday night – at 6pm, Finding Dory will be shown, with all proceeds going to Project AWARE.
