Technical diving instructor trainer John Kendall will be taking to the Tech Stage at the GO Diving Show to talk about 3D photogrammetry – in caves.

John Kendall is an explorer who specialises in underwater 3D modelling of archaeological and geological sites. He has been involved in dozens of investigations of divesites using photogrammetric techniques, including the Mars shipwreck (1564), MS Estonia (1994), Panarea III Wreck (~300BC) and the Cave of Bones, Brazil (~11,000 years old).

He will be talking on the Tech Stage at 10.45am-11.30am on Saturday 4 March about the challenges of doing digital archaeology in overhead environments with no natural light, and no direct surface.

He is also an Instructor Evaluator for Global Underwater Explorers and sits on their Training Council.
